I love the way these boys work together. Serious problem-solving. Together they decide and continually run ideas past each other. They good manners and encourage each other.

I love the problem solving that is happening here. Not giving up, even though the glue stick was clearly not doing the job. Again, checking in with peers about ideas on how to improve the construction.

Discovering that the sand particles are attracted to magnets.

These boys were playing in the sandpit. They added the magnetic letters to play with and accidently found particles "magic sand" sticking to the magnets. Here they are collecting the metal particles from West Coast sand.

Education outside the classroom.

                        
Wow-what a fun day we had today. God definitely answered our prayers for good weather! A full day of lots of good fun and I bet a lot of very tired little bodies tonight. :)
     

Here is santas jacket- designed and created by Aaron. 

He created a Santa label for the jacket.

Trip

Today we had a lovely albeit cold and wet. We had great fun splashing in puddles too!! We got to experience some of the things we have been learning about our area. We saw Pukekohe from the top of the highest hill, Alexandra redoubt and the Waikato river. We had to return early but had delicious hot milo with marshmallows in the hall. Yummmm

Here we are marching around the walls of Jericho, blowing our trumpets. Then sleeping before our next day of marching begins.

Gymnastics

Today we had great fun taking part in Gymnastics at school. We were such good listeners and participants that the coaches said our class was by far the best they had had all day. Happy teacher :)
